Nombres complexes

I.  Présentation des nombres complexes

$\mathbf{S_{\mathbb{C}}=\{i;-i\}}$.
- $\mathbf{\mathbb{C}}$ contient les nombres réels et un élément $\mathbf{i}$ tel que $\mathbf{i^2=-1}$ ;
- $\mathbf{\mathbb{C}}$ obeit aux règles de calculs que dans $\mathbf{\mathbb{R}}$ ;
- $\mathbf{\mathbb{R}}$ inclu dans $\mathbf{\mathbb{C}}$.

A.  Forme algébrique d'un nombre complexe

$\Im_{m}{(z)}=0$
$z\in{\mathbb{R}}\Rightarrow{\Im_{m}{(z)}=0}$.
$\Re_{e}{(z)}=0$
$z\in{\mathbb{R}}\Rightarrow{\Re_{e}{(z)}=0}$

Attention:

${a+ib=a' + ib'}\iff{
\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
a=a'\\
b=b'
\end{array}
\right.
}$

${a+ib=0}\iff{
\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
a=0\\
b=0
\end{array}
\right.
}$

$\mathbf{{z=a+ib}\Rightarrow{\bar{z}=a-ib}}$

{\mathbf{\overline{z.z'}=\bar{z}.\bar{z'}}}\\{\mathbf{\bar{z}+\bar{z}=2\Re_{e}{(z)}}}\\{\mathbf{\bar{z}-\bar{z}=2\Im_{m}{(z)}}}\\
{\mathbf{{z}\times{\bar{z}}=\Re_{e}^{2}{(z)}+\Im_{m}^{2}{(z)}}}
$
Soit $\alpha \in{\mathbb{R}}$ ; on a:  $\mathbf{{\overline{\alpha{z}}}=\alpha{\bar{z}}}$
Si $\mathbf{z=z'}$ on a: $\mathbf{\overline{z\times{z'}}={(\bar{z})}^2\;et\;(\bar{z})^n={\bar{z}}^n}$

B.  Opération dans $\mathbb{C}$

1.  Règle opération

 Soit $z$ et $z'$ deux complexes telque $z=a+ib$ et $z'=a'+ib'$. On a:

- Somme: $z+z'=(a+a')+i(b+b')$
- Produit: $z\times{z'}=(aa'-bb')+i(a'b+ab')$
- Quotient: ${\frac{1}{z}}={\frac{\bar{z}}{a^2+b^2}}={\frac{a}{a^2+b^2}}-{\frac{b}{a^2+b^2}i}$

2.  Les propriétés

$i^{4n}=i^{2(2n)}=(-1)^{2n}=1$
$i^{4n+1}=i^{4n}\times{i}=i$
$i^{4n+2}=i^{4n}\times{i^2}=-1$
$i^{4n+3}=i^{4n}\times{i^3}=i^{4n}\times{i^2}\times{i}=-i$

NB :  $i^2=-1$

II.  Représentation géometrique d'un nombre complexe

A.  Affixe d’un point – d’un vecteur

$\mathbf{M_1(-3+2i)\;M_2(1-2i)}$.

Remarque

                               Solution

1- Calculons $OM$
$z=x+iy$
$OM=\sqrt{(x-0)^2+(y-0)^2}$
$OM=\sqrt{x^2+y^2}$

2- Déduisons $OM$ à l'aide de l'affixe de $z$
${z=x+iy}\Rightarrow{OM=\sqrt{x^2+y^2}}$
$OM=\sqrt{\Re_{e}^2(z)+\Im_{m}^2(z)}$

On le note $\mathbf{|z|=||\vec{OM}||=\sqrt{\Re_{e}^2(z)+\Im_{e}^2(z)}}$
on a: $\mathbf{AB=|z_{\vec{AB}}|=|z_B-z_A|}$

                                 Solution

1- Déterminons module de $z$.
$z=x+iy\\|z|=\sqrt{x^2+y^2}$
$\alpha{=(\vec{i};\vec{OM})}$
$\cos{\alpha}=\frac{x}{OM}$
$\mathbf{x=OM\cos{\alpha}=|z|\cos{\alpha}}$
$z=x+iy$
$\mathbf{z=(|z|\cos{\alpha})+i(|z|\sin{\alpha})}$
$\mathbf{\alpha}$ est appelé argument de $z$

On note
$\mathbf{arg(z)=\alpha{+2k\pi}}$ avec $k\in{\mathbb{Z}}$
${\mathbf{arg(z)=\alpha{[2\pi]}}}$.

Remarque

$arg(z)=\theta$ on a:$\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
\cos{\theta}=\frac{\Re(z)}{|z|}\\
\sin{\theta}=\frac{\Im(z)}{|z|}
\end{array}
\right.
$

3.  Propriétes et opérations sur les arguments

Propriété

Soit $z$ un nombre complexe non nul
-si $\mathbf{z\in{\mathbb{R^*}}\;:\;arg(z)=k\pi\;;\;k\in{Z}}$
$\left\{\begin{array}{l}
z\in{R^+}\\
z'\in{R^-}
\end{array}
\right.
$
-si $\mathbf{z\in{\mathbb{iR^*}}\;:\;arg(z)=\frac{\pi}{2}+k\pi\;;\;k\in{Z}}$

$\mathbf{arg(\bar{z})=-arg(z)}$
$\mathbf{arg(-z)=\pi{+arg(z)}}$
$\mathbf{arg({z}\times{z'})=arg(z)+arg(z')}$
$\mathbf{arg(\frac{1}{z})=-arg(z)}$
$\mathbf{arg(\frac{z}{z'})=arg(z)-arg(z')}$
$\mathbf{arg({z^n})=n\;arg(z)}$

D.  Autres écritures d'un nombre complexe

1.  Activité

$\forall{z\in{C^*}}$ on a : $a+ib$
$z=\sqrt{a^2+b^2}(\frac{a}{\sqrt{a^2+b^2}}+i\frac{b}{\sqrt{a^2+b^2}})\\{z=\sqrt{a^2+b^2}(\cos{\theta}+i\sin{\theta})}$.
$z={\sqrt{a^2+b^2}e^{i\theta}}$

$\mathbf{z=|z|(\cos{\theta}+i\sin{\theta})}$ où $\theta=arg(z)$
 Soit $z$ un complexe non nul d'argument $\theta$ , on appelle forme exponentielle de $z$ toute écriture de la forme $\mathbf{|z|e^{i\theta}}$
 En particulier, si $|z|=1$ alors $z=e^{i\theta}\\{\bar{z}=e^{-i\theta}}$

E.  Nombre complexe et transformation du plan

$\mathbf{M\longrightarrow{M'} {z\longmapsto{z}}
  {z'=e^{i\theta}\;z}}$

F.  Complexe et géométrie

De même
$\mathbf{{(AB)}\perp{(BC)}\iff{arg(\frac{z_A-z_B}{z_C-z_B})
=\pm{\frac{\pi}{2}[2\pi]}}}$

III.  Application dans $\mathbb{C}$

A.  Résolution d'équations

1.  Racine $n^e$ d'un nombre complexe

$\mathbf{\underline{a - Racine\;n^e\;de\;l'unité}}$

${z^n=1}\Rightarrow{
\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
|z^n|=|1|\\
n\;arg(z)=0+2k\pi
\end{array}
\right.
}$ $\Rightarrow{
\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
|z^n|=|1|\\
n\;arg(z)=\frac{2k\pi}{n}
\end{array}
\right.
}$

$z=[1;\;\frac{2k\pi}{n}],\;k\in{\mathbb{Z}}$

Soit $\theta{k}=\frac{2k\pi}{n}$ on a: $z=[1;\;\theta{k}]$

Conclusion
$\forall{z\in{C^*}}$, on a : $z=[|z|;\;\theta]$
$z^n=1\Rightarrow{
\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
|z^n|=|1|\\
arg(z)=\frac{2k\pi}{n}\;k\in{\mathbb{Z}}
\end{array}
\right. }$

${z^n=a+ib}\Rightarrow{[|z|^n;\;n\;\theta]=[\sqrt{a^2+b^2};\;\alpha]}$ ${\Rightarrow{
\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
|z|^n=\sqrt{a^2+b^2}\\
n\;\theta{=\alpha{+2k\pi}}
\end{array}
\right.
}}$ $\Rightarrow{
\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
|z|=\sqrt[n]{a^2+b^2}\\
\theta{={\frac{\alpha+2k\pi}{n}}\;k\in{Z}}
\end{array}
\right.
}$

2.  Resolution d’équation du seconde dégré

$\underline{\mathbf{a.  az^2 +bz+c\; avec\; (a,b,c)\in{R^3}}}$
-si ${\Delta{=0}}\Rightarrow{z_1=z_2=\frac{-b}{2a}}$ (solution double)
-si ${\Delta{>0}}\Rightarrow{z_1={\frac{-b-\sqrt{\Delta}}{2a} \; ; z_2=\frac{-b+\sqrt{\Delta}}{2a}}}$
-si ${\Delta{<0}}\Rightarrow{z_1=\frac{-b-i\sqrt{{|\Delta|}}}{2a} \; ; z_2=\frac{-b+i\sqrt{|\Delta|}}{2a}}$.
Deux solutions complexes conjuguées

$\underline{\mathbf{b. az^2+bz+c\; avec \;(a,b,c)\in{C^3}}}$
On procède comme suite
$\Rightarrow $$\mathbf{\Delta{=b^2-4ac}}$
$\Rightarrow $ on recherche les racines de $\mathbf{\Delta}$
$\Rightarrow $ chercher les solutions
       $ \mathbf{z_1=\frac{-b-\sqrt{\Delta}}{2a} \; ; z_1=\frac{-b+\sqrt{\Delta}}{2a}}$

$\underline{\mathbf{c. az^3+bz^2+cz+c=0\;(a,b,c)\in{C} \ ; a\ne{0}}}$

Théorème

soit $P$ un polynôme de degré $n$ et $z_0$ une racine de $P(z)$. Il existe alors un polynôme unique $Q(z)$ tel que $\mathbf{P(z)= (z-z_0).Q(z)}$ où $Q(z)$ est un polynôme de degré $n-1$

NB : Si $\mathbf{z_0}$ est une racine de $z$ alors $\mathbf{P(z_0)=0}$
${P(z_0)=0}\iff{\Re_{e}{(P(z_0))}=0}\\{\Im_{m}{(P(z_0))}=0}$

3.  Racine carrée d'un complexe $a+ib$

 Soit à determiner la racine $\sqrt{a}= 3-4i$
On a:
${z=x+iy}$ $ {\Rightarrow{z^2=d}}\\
{\Rightarrow{(x+iy)^2=3-4i}}\\
{\Rightarrow{
\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
x^2-y^2=3\\
2xy=-4
\end{array}
\right.}}$

De plus $|z^2|=|d|$ d'où
$\mathbf{\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
x^2+y^2=|d|\\
x^2-y^2=\Re_{e}{(d)}\\
2xy=\Im_{m}{(d)}
\end{array}
\right.}$

Par conséquence,
${\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
x^2+y^2=5\\
x^2-y^2=3\\
xy=-2
\end{array}
\right.}\\
{\Rightarrow{
\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
x=2\;ou\;x=-2\\
y=1\;ou\;y=-1
\end{array}
\right.}
}
$
Donc $z=2-i$ ou $z=-2+i$

Conclusion:
Pour tout complexe $z$ et $d\;;d=a+ib$ avec $z$ la racine carrée de $d$
${z}\; verifie\;{\left\{
\begin{array}{l}
x^2+y^2=|d|\\
x^2-y^2=\Re_{e}{(d)}\\
2xy=\Im_{m}{(d)}
\end{array}
\right.}$

On a :
$\mathbf{z=\cos{\theta}+i\sin{\theta}}$ (1)
$\mathbf{\bar{z}=\cos{\theta}-i\sin{\theta}}$ (2)
(1)+(2) $\Rightarrow{z+\bar{z}=2\cos{\theta}}$
(1)-(2) $\Rightarrow{z-\bar{z}=2i\sin{\theta}}$
De plus, $z^n=\cos{n\theta}+i\sin{n\theta}\\{\bar{z}^n=\cos{n\theta}-i\sin{n\theta}}$
D’où la formule de Moivre
$\forall{z\in{C^*}}$ on a:

$\mathbf{{2\cos{n\theta}=z^n+\bar{z}^n}\Rightarrow{\cos{n\theta}=\frac{z^n+\bar{z}^n}{2}}}$

$\mathbf{{2i\sin{n\theta}=z^n-\bar{z}^n}\Rightarrow{\cos{n\theta}=\frac{z^n-\bar{z}^n}{2i}}}$

$\mathbf{z^n.\bar{z}^n=1}$

2.  Formule d’Euler

On a :
$z=\cos{\theta}+i\sin{\theta}=e^{i\theta}\ ;(1)$
$\bar{z}=\cos{\theta}-i\sin{\theta}=e^{-i\theta}\ ; (2)$
(1)+(2) $\Rightarrow{z+\bar{z}=2\cos{\theta}=e^{i\theta}+e^{-i\theta}}$
(1)-(2) $\Rightarrow{z-\bar{z}=2i\sin{\theta}= e^{i\theta}-e^{-i\theta}}$
De façon générale, on a les formules d’Euler

$2\cos{n\theta}=e^{in\theta}+ e^{-in\theta}$ $\Rightarrow$ $\cos{n}{\theta}=\frac{ e^{in\theta}+ e^{-in\theta}}{2}$

$2i\sin{n\theta}=e^{in\theta}- e^{-in\theta}$ $\Rightarrow$ $\sin{n}{\theta}=\frac{ e^{in\theta}- e^{-in\theta}}{2i}$

$e^{in\theta}. e^{-in\theta}=1$
