I.  Text

Text : The New Coronavarius

The new Coronavirus disease ( COVID-19 ) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered Coronavirus ( SARS-COV-2). Most people infected with the COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring any special treatement. But when the disease gets serious, the patients will suffer from high fever, a cough that wouldn't go away, violent headaches and breathlessness (respiratory distress).

There are many modes of COVID-19 transmission. The COVID-19 spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person speaks, coughs or sneezes. So, if a healthy person is too close to an infected person, he or she may be infected. This is the respiratory mode of transmission. Another mode is contact transmission. In that situation, viral particles emitted from the respiratory tract of an infected individual land on a surface. Then, another person touches that surface, and then touches his / her nose, mouth or eyes. The virus then sneaks into the body via the mucous membranes, infecting the second person.

To protect yourself from COVID-19, there are some measures to take. First, you should regularly wash you hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. You can also use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol as an alternative to hand washing. You should also respect social distancing, staying at least one meter from other people. You  should also cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around people. You should cough or sneeze in a clean  piece of cloth or a handkerchief and throw it in a trash, or cough or sneeze in your flexed elbow. Finally, you should clean and disinfect with detergent, soap or alcohol, frequently touched surfaces. This includes tables, doornobs, light switches, countertops, desks, phones, toilets ... And when you present some of the symptoms, please stay home and call appropriate green number.
